Blow out and Panning

To create the blowout effect i had to change my camera settings. ISO was on 50, the aperture was on F8, and the shutter speed was 1/2.5. I had lowest ISO so it wouldn't have a grainy texture. That means i needed a slower shutter speed to allow enough light to come in. The other way would be to have a higher ISO and fast shutter speed but that would give a grainy, low-quality look. Panning is when only your main object is in focus and the rest is blurred by moving your camera with your object. It should look like your moving object is frozen in motion and all the other objects that are still or moving in different direction are blurred. the most difficult thing about panning was when i tried to make the subject not blend in with the blurry background. I had a hard time trying to figure it out still cause I only had so little time to learn it.
